it was oddly romantic,

standing in front of the hokkien mee, watching him fire up his wok for my mom's 'kong fu chow nying nyong', with 'just the way you look tonight' playing in the background.

a fat boy shrieks at the satay man for splashing water on his feet.
the mrs satay sits contentedly in the alleyway having a chat with presumably the nasi lemak man.

what an end to a night.

give me another week, and all posts whining/ranting about having to leave will end, hopefully.
